Web browser and windows explorer unresponsive

A few days ago when I tried to play something on itunes it wouldn't play that track and started trying to play the tracks above it in the library but just skipped through them.
Then when I tried to look at a drive in explorer or go to a website in the browser it wouldn't respond.
After rebooting the problem goes away for a bit and then comes back again.
I've tried:
Updating windows 10
Resetting windows (keeping files and settings)
Fresh install on a different drive

As I was submitting this the browser (firefox but also happens with Edge) jumped back to the home screen.

I don't know whether it's a hardware problem or not.
Got a feeling it's windows related possibly from an update.
Is it possible to go back to an earlier version after a fresh install?

It's not unless you use an earlier version boot drive.

Are you overclocking any hardware at all? Have you tested the memory at all? Have you reset the bios ?

Gpu was overclocked. Everything is now stock. I’ll try memtest and motherboard bios flash

Turns out you were right. The problem went away as soon as I disconnected my wireless keyboard and I've got a new one which is working well.
