web browser benchmark?

does anyone know that website which benchmarks web browser speeds

ive had a look around but cant remember what its called

Benchmarks what?

There's SunSpider, Google's V8 benchmark and Dromaeo, among dozens of others. All of them test JavaScript execution (though Dromaeo does some DOM stuff too IIRC).

acid 3 gives 71/100 and says linktest failed

is there a problem :confused:

, im sure when i tried it last i was getting in the low 90s

ive tried both the 3.1 and 3.5 beta (im using windows 7 64)

i just cleared some stuff, run ccleaner, cleared caches and now its showing as 93/100 but still linktest failed

it does all feel nippy now

I dont think the Acid tests are meant to be a measure of performance. They are more of the rendering engines ability to display CSS and other web standards correctly.
