web browser help

hi

i have both internet explorer and firefox web browsers on my pc but im unsure which one is the most secure.

i prefer firefox because it seems more stable but is it more secure?

well i do have comodo firewall and nod 32 antivirus .

is that not enough?

would you suggest spybot s&d for the cookies then??

one more thing when i install the firefox add block addon it comes up with subscibe to filter lists do i need to do this?

edit* i choose the USA easylist subscription is that ok

install the adblock plus addon, then choose 'easylist subscription'

(for firefox)

you'll get NO ads on pages then, browsing is much faster





to make them both safer, install...

spywareblaster
spybot s&d (untick the 'resident scanner' options)

update both and immunize/protect (stops bad cookies)

where do i go to turn off the resident scanner , and why do i need to do this?

well after installing spybot and running it , it found a few things to remove but there is so many things that say do you want to delete this and that , that ive got confused with it , so ive uninstalled it

ive had only firewall and antivirus for ages now and that seems ok i hope.
