i don't think so. i don't actually know but i'm pretty sure it's not possible. as you know, all (old) windows apps are lumped together under "wave" and i doubt it's possible to for it to differentiate.
vista can do it because it's audio system has been rebuilt from the ground-up apparently.
It's just a pain in the butt when a website blasts out music (like MySpace) and there's absolutlely no control over it. The only program I wan't to hear is Media Player.
