Hi all

Any of you use any of the hosted options available? Currently trialing GotoMeeting and WebEx.

Just wanted to read your experiences.

WebEx is very powerful and brilliant to use but not very cost effective unless you make good use of it, havent come across a better solution as yet.

WebEx currently have an offer of £30 a month for unlimited meetings/host.

Looks like the only thing it doesn't include is the audio, but that's fine for us as we have telephone conferencing on our avaya voip system anyway.

Been using both for a while, personally as a company we use WebEx for the audio/video conferencing, and sometimes GoToMeeting if we're just sharing out desktops during land line conference calls. Both are easy enough to use from an end user standpoint.

What type of features are you going to be using most?

We use WebEx, GoToMeeting and GoToAssist at work. WebEx is great but a little pricey.

We tend to use skype for desktop to desktop (although the lack of multi party video hurts occasionally) and our polycom units for more serious stuff. Don't do much conferencing with clients to be honest, just internal and the need for desktop sharing doesn't come up very often.
