Web design on MacBook

I was thinking of building a new machine for around £500-600. I'd rather move away onto a laptop though so i'm not tied down to my desk. I thought about increasing my budget a little and getting a MacBook.

I would need to use photoshop and dreamweaver quite often though, can people manage with the 13'3" screen?

No, you'd definitely need a second monitor if you're using anything more advanced than a text editor (to store the various pallettes somewhere).

Fo sure. I just about manage on my 15" MBP, 13.3" would drive me crazy.

Interesting... I'm doing "Interactive" media.

Should be getting my 24" soon too.

No chance can you develop on that screen, I was on a 24" @ 1920x1200, but Im now on a 30" 2560x1600 and 24" is too small for me now

Bigger is always better! and theres no way I could develop on my lappy screen, it would drive me insane!

I have a macbook and connect it to my dell 20" widescreen when I need the extra space

The macbook is a great laptop!! Light, fast, good battery what more could you want!
