Web designers, pay attention

joking aside, my eyes actually hurt after reading that big page.

My god, OCUK forums looks like the best designed website ever after that.

It's still no where near the level of awesomeness displayed by a local fabric retailer to us:

My g/f (a professional developer) has offered a free redesign of the site to them as a gesture of good will but they are "Happy with it as it is, we like how easy it is to use".

omg!

When doing a module on useability at university we had to choose a crap site and totally rework the design/useability of it. Our team choose that exact site and I too emailed them asking about having it redone (getting the same response as you).

How weird :)

A website designed in Microsoft office. How can they possibly think that's not terrible.

My guess the same person who designed it, is the person who responds to the offers of redesign, and can't see past his own ego.

hehe. Well when I emailed them I got the impression they liked the crap design as it forced people to call up. Weird way of thinking imo :)

This eccentric and eclectic site contains thousands of pages of information on a wealth of subjects and an encyclopaedic set of things linked together conceptually, and references to thousands of places around the world.

and

Another thing, as Zyra thinks in concepts not in words, quite a lot of the pages are connected up as in the mind.

Riiiiiiiiight. I think a few decades of smoking the waccy baccy have done someone's synapses a little witty bit of damage. :D

I am loving this site. Just in case you think it's confusing and you can't find anything, you should read this helpful page:
