Web form submitting....

Hi guys!

Ive created a webform in dreamweaver mx and it emails it to myself fine... the problem is it requires the user to have an email account set up to send the form.

Now ive been on websites before that submit the data without having to use my email account set up in outlook/express....

But how do i set it up?

Can anyone guide me?

Hi there, you would need to use a server side scripting language such as PHP, ASP, Perl etc. Do you know if your hosting supports any of these?

Nah, Windows hosting will often include ASP and PHP - though yeah, Windows hosting is generally more expensive than *nix-based hosting

my mistake guys, its just PHP and perl... i have found something on the net called FormMail by someone called Matt Wright... seems to be doing the trick
