Web forwarding problem

Hello, I have 2 domains, one is www.scary-squirrel.com and the other is www.scarysquirrel.co.uk

The page I am using is www.scary-squirrel.com/v3

In the CP on 123-reg for the .co.uk one I have done web forwarding and pointed it to .com/v3

Previously when I had it pointed to .com/v2 it worked, and it worked for about half a day to .com/v3, but now it just gives an error.

Am I doing something wrong? What can I do to fix it? Does this actually make sense? I hope so

edit: oh, it is working now!

Turns out it isn't working again now. It is very tempremental whereas before it was fine. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Don't expect changes you make to work instantly. Every change you make has to propagate through all the DNS servers so it takes some time.

Oh ok. It's weird though sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't

My advice is to set it up to how you think it should be, leave it for 24 - 36 hours then see if its still broken. If it is, post your DNS settings here and then be 100% sure before making changes again because you have to wait another 24 - 36 hours to see if its worked.

(It will probably propagate much faster than 36 hours but its best to be on the safe side
