web hikacking

When I click on links to go to webpages, the pages do not come but i get adverts and blinx and newsbusters pages coming, which is making my life a misery.

How do I get rid of this? I believe this is called web hijacking.

Wrong section but sounds like malware, in which case download malwarebytes and perform a quick scan. Should pick it up and remove it.
