Web Hosting/Domain Name

Hi guys,

I need to create and upload a webpage and host it on the internet for my assignment. I've created the page on Adobe Dreamweaver and just need to upload it. Anyone got suggestions on FREE domain names or how to host it onto the internet?

Any help appreciated thanks!

Theres loads of free hosting, try sites.google.com I think for googles version.
As for free domain names, you wont get a "proper" domain name for free. .co.uk's are available for £7 or so for a year or two, so really not that much.

If I used that would I be able to direct the traffic to a site I hosted say on my QIQ space?

Can you not use a DynDNS name or something?
Get the name and then point it to the IP address of your hosting.
