Web Hosting Reccomendations

I think this is the most suitable thread for my question so here goes.

I have purchased my domain from 1and1 and was wondering whats a good company to get my web hosting from in terms of reliability, speed and the package they offer for price.

The website will be an art website so it will have a lot of images and a increasingly larger database behind it.

Where can you guys recommend?

Always used Vidahost. Most others on here recommend them too

I have my websites hosted with Webhost.uk.netfor 3+ year always worth to take a look. Also got a chance to work on customers new server with Web hosting UK, got quick service and update to all questions , its just the first month with them but found them good as well till date.

Recently signed up with tsohost and got a free domain for a year too which I was after.

Now I've got to try and cancel the hosting that my main website is with and try and transfer it across to tsohost so that I'm not paying two sets!

Probably a good idea, Can make a tally of how many people suggest which site also in some form of ranking.

We moved all our sites from Rackspace Cloud to Vidahost and the service is much better and the server is a million times faster!!!

Linode are 2nd to none if you're okay going unmanaged.
