Web Hosting Reccomendations

I think this is the most suitable thread for my question so here goes.

I have purchased my domain from 1and1 and was wondering whats a good company to get my web hosting from in terms of reliability, speed and the package they offer for price.

The website will be an art website so it will have a lot of images and a increasingly larger database behind it.

Where can you guys recommend?

Probably a good idea, Can make a tally of how many people suggest which site also in some form of ranking.
