Web Hosting Software

Good day all.

I am not sure if this post is best suited in the Servers or Linux topic's, so please feel free to move this post to where is best suited.

I host a few of my own little web sites from home.

My server is running ubuntu 12.10 x64 server, and for the web hosting side of things upto now I have been trying "Easy Hosting Control Panel (EHCP)".

Now this EHCP does work, but there are a number of bug with EHCP & Ubuntu 12.10.

Can anyone here recommend some free, or low priced hosting software for Ubuntu.

You could try webmin or you could just install / configure whatever you need yourself. It's not terribly difficult.

There are other alternatives but I'm a tight Scotsman, so I'll let others recommend you spend money.

As above, webmin is not bad, cPanel is the best but costly (not worth it), or just install apache/php5/mysql and do it all yourself (+bind etc).
