Web Mania Problem

Hi, just wondered if anyone had experienced similar problems.

Basically I had a web mania account for hosting and bought a domain off them. Due to problems with the hosting uptime I decided to change the hosting to a server that my mate runs. I got web mania to use the correct name servers but it will still not show the page. Is there anything out that I have missed or possible problems? The hosting definitely works as there are other domains linked to it

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you switch to 1and1? There appears to be a problem with their nameservers (or you've entered the wrong nameserver details):

How I am searching:
Searching for aberdigs.com A record at d.root-servers.net [128.8.10.90]: Got referral to H.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [took 7 ms]
Searching for aberdigs.com A record at H.GTLD-SERVERS.NET. [192.54.112.30]: Got referral to ns46.1and1.co.uk. [took 98 ms]
Searching for aberdigs.com A record at ns46.1and1.co.uk. [212.227.123.51]: Server failure! [took 102 ms].

Answer:
Server failure. There's a problem with the DNS server for aberdigs.com.

Yup, you have the nameservers set to ns45.1and1.co.uk and ns46.1and1.co.uk. These nameservers do not have your domain in their configuration (or there is some kind of problem with the zone preventing it from being loaded).

I'm guessing that your friend has a dedi with 1and1 and is using their nameserver hosting rather than providing his own? In that case he would need to verify that he's configured the zone properly in their control panel. If he has, this is one for 1and1 support as there's obviously some kind of problem with their system :).
 
It looks like 1and1 are hosting the DNS. I doubt you'll be able to do anything about it via Plesk. You need to speak to your friend :).
 
Issue Resolved, Logged onto the box and you have to add the domain within the central control to the list of domains which you control. Cheers for your help lads. Wouldnt have known where to start. Appreciate the help
