Web/.net dev - 2 x TFT (20 or 24) or 1 x 30" - Help!

Hi All,

I am due to start some long term .NET and web development (web will be under linux).

Question is for people who have used or are in the know.

Would you recommend 2 x monitors (Dell 2001's or 2405's not sure whats better) or 1 x 30" Dell 3007.

I currently have a socket 939 mobo but its agp (X800XTPE) so I know to move to the Dell I'm gonna have to move PCI Express (and get either 7800 or X....XT).

Budget doesn't matter-well unless someone thinks 2 x 30" is good idea

my experience is based on two 17'' tft's and an apple 30' and I prefered the field of vision with 2 smaller monitors, more side to side and less up and down!! I just found the ACD 30 too big, but i suppose it depends on how close you sit.
IMHO the sweet spot would be 2 20 inch screens both price and size wise.
If you want to look at a 30 inch screen pop along to an apple store or John lewis to see one in the flesh.
