Web Page Display Size???

Hi all,

Just got a new computer with windows 7. I am running IE8. Problem is that some web pages are displaying more narrow than they displayed on my old computer. I have tried to change zoom levels and while this works, some pages display too wide.

1280*1024 I think the res on my old system was lower. Would this make a difference?

Sounds like you're looking at pages which have a fixed width, so take up a smaller proportion of your new larger display. You just need to get used to it.

Just to add to what Daegan said - if you're finding it harder to read webpages, you can adjust the size of the text by clicking the magnifying glass located at the bottom right hand corner of IE.
