Web page in an explorer window?

what programs do you use to create an application that uses a website like design, but opens up in an exe window?

I think its like using website but within a standalone program.

Just doing a little research, and wondering what kind of program does this!

Ah cool! I was under the impression that you would create a website using normal HTML and then transfering it to a exe!

With vb.net could you still use ActiveX controls?

Also would it be possible to run an application within an application?

I am sooooo dumb!! Was playing around with VB, so its DHTML applications that i am looking for right?!
