Web page shortcuts on desktop

For the last few days whenever I open my desktop internet shortcuts they dont open maximised, I have searched everywhere in Internet Explorer for a setting that would change this, but cant find it, can anyone help?

Right-click on the link, click "Create Shortcut".

Right-click on the newly created shortcut, and enter the Properties tab. Change the application to run maximised.

Rename shortcuts as required.

There is no option (XP pro) to run it maxmised on mine?? There is for Aplications but not for Websites

Re-read what I wrote. You need to create a shortcut to IE from the 'desktop' shortcut before you can assign the maximise property.

Long-winded, but it works.

I never had to do that before...........whats strange is that they always ran maximised up untill a few days ago?
