Hiya,

Firstly let me just say I've barely started looking into this, OCUK is as usual my first point of call for advice!

I'm looking to replace our seriously rubbish Linux box with a beer fridge in the server room. All this linux box does at the moment is host a very basic internal website. Obviously I'd have to host it elsewhere and probably on either a NT or server 2003 box. Does anyone have any decent suggestions for doing this?

Honestly I've barely looked into it, I've always used Linux for this but the machine is old and need to be binned so I'd rather host it on a MS box either using MS build in a hosting program or a cheap/free 3rd party piece of software if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm off to spec me a beer fridge now :D

what about apache for widows its free and easy.

As said by Otacon, you could just use IIS but I find the interface a bit crap. I prefer to use XAMPP as it's so much easier to configure and use :)

If you already have some Windows servers, just use IIS on that box.

Seconded or Apache if you fancy spending a sizeable ammount of time editing conf files. But seeing as your existing box is linux based youll probably enjoy it.
