I already have the domain name and email client but web builder software wasn't part of the package.

Have looked at some free Ines but don't mind paying.

Is wordpress not a good place to start coding? Do you get code from templates that you can then play about with or is it all locked down?

A very belated thanks to all. I have coded websites before with adobe software but want something point and click as very short on time (in general)!

Is there any drag and drop software without a monthly subscription, more a one off fee?

I used a app called Pagemill before all wysiwyg... I think it is gone now, download...I bet this is just like Pagemill only not discontinued...
