web space usage

i have some free webspace with my isp but there is no control panel or anything like that. i only have ftp access. is there any ftp client or other method where i can find out how much space i'm using? i know i could copy the whole contents of the site to my pc but is there a quicker/easier method? thanks.

When i log into my isp FTP (zen) it says in the log (filezilla)

So take a look through the connection log and see if it shows your usage

bah. nowt in my connection log. i guess that's a server setting their end.

i guess i'll just have to download the site every now and then to check it. although i sync my pages via ftp, i upload most files via a php script - that's why i have no idea how much space i'm using.

Try using the webdrive free trial, and mapping a network drive to your webspace using your FTP details, you could then use windows to find out the size of all your files with a right click...
