Webcam and MS Lifecam software

Does anyone use the Microsoft Lifecam software? I just got a VX-1000 and the default settings are terrible!! I have changed them and got it a bit better but I'm wondering what settings the rest of you use.

hi i have the vx-6000 and i use it on the 1.2mp video settings and works fine

very very clear and the quality is superb

Where would I go to change the settings to Video settings? I had a decent look around the settings last night and did not notice but maybe I missed I know
