Webcam/FTP question

I need a very good quality (picture wise) webcam and appropriate software that will allow a FTP upload every 5 minutes (approx) of a single still image. I'm horribly out of touch with things and google is just serving to confuse me!

Could anybody offer some advice on what to buy and what sort of software i'd need to acheive my needs?

Or you could possibly use the software that comes with the webcam;;;
