webcam image

so i was talking to the missses on webcam on msn and it kept disconnecting her side
so i siad lets go to skype,
we usually use yahoo but sometimes she cant connect so we use msn, today we used skype
but i noticed.. that as always my webcam image was crap on msn and yahoo but when i went onto skype the color image everything was perfect!!
why is this?
so i cut all cam and went into properties of my cam and the image was really bad yet when i started again webcam with skype the image was perfect even if i enlarged it.
im using logitech quickcam chat

mine is like that aswell, but my dads is perfect on msn, so no idea

i have a similar problem, my vx6000 can be set to very high resoloutions on the microsoft lifecam software and its fine, connect up to msn and it seems to cut down the window and reduces the quality, go onto yahoo or skype with webcam and it runs it at full quality.

having said that if you do a windows live call from the lifecam software it seems to keep the quality :S
