webcam motion detecting software to play sound file?

long story short, wanna scare a housemate when they get in by having a certain song automatically played. figured the best way to do this would be something along the lines of hiding the laptop somewhere with the webcam sticking out, and using some kind of motion sensing program to detect any movement and automatically set the song going.

i know theres plenty of different types of tracking software out there, but do any of them allow external events (if thats the right phrasing) such playing a sound file?

What I didn't read is that is a trial first,
but I'm guessing this is gonna be used a few times as then your mate will cotton onto your game

You can set VitaminD to play a .wav file if detects movement.
