Hey, I need to talk to my friend over Skype. Currently I use a mono headset but it's uncomfortable, and annoying taking it on off, on off all the time. If I can find myself a nice web cam that I can stick on top of my monitor that provides clear sound (more important than good video) I will ditch my headset. Does anyone have any recommendation's? I have a budget up to £40.

Thanks.

Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX - about £25

Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 - about £50 a bit over your budget, but an excellent cam.

Creative’s Live! Cam Optia Pro - about £50, also over budget but very very good indeed.

Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro - can be had for under £20, not as good as the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX. :)

Use this when working from home, picture quality is great & the built in mic is superb compared to the many others ive tried, just make sure you have a half decent sound card in PC to get the best out of it. ;)
