I bought a C922 and snowball ice to start doing simple you video (unboxing, model making stuff, little thoughts and reviews on various things) but I still need (free preferably) software to record the video. On colleague said OBS but they seems more for streamers (something Im not wanting to do just yet) and seems complex for what I want to do.

I had a quick scan and the free software thread (https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/useful-freeware-utilities.17701152/) but there seems to be a lot of choices:-/. So what's the best option to record video from my (somewhat pricey) webcam maybe with the option to pick different audio sources maybe.

Thanks in advance

OBS can configured to do just recordings really easily (it's what I use for capture recordings), but I would suggest using OBS Studio since it shows everything you're doing in real time instead of having to rely on the preview button to see if you've messed up somewhere along the line.

I don't suppose you could point me to a tutorial or something ?
