Webcam

Can someone recommend me a decent webcam? Ive looked at the Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000 Webcam but £40 is a fair bit. Anyone got any suggestions?

Many people on here will recommend the Sony EyeToy which is designed for use on the playstation. However, there are guides on the web which show how to use it as a webcam.

They work well and don't cost much. I'm getting one myself soon

I would recomend a Senston web cam, they are great and very good quality. U can pic 1 up for around £15

Ah But my friend picked up a 2nd hand eyetoy for a fiver, and they're quality, I recommended it to him, I read around on the internet about the simple solution to get it working and I use mine, it's great.

640x480 at a very nice fps, it's all good!

The eyetoy also has a microphone!

Both silver and black versions work, you just need to download the appropriate driver from here. Fantastic camera for it's price.
