if the title makes any sense please could someone link me to some decet webcam software that allow multiple people to join and view each other? like conferencing????

skype allows multiple conferencing with voice (and its really good quality, far better than normal phone) and has webcam support, but i dont know if you can have multiple webcams

Hi n3x,
Did you find any software that will do it?
I'm in the same boat.
Got a few different family members, but I've realised Microsoft Messenger only allows you to video call ONE person at a time.

i used to use yahoo messenger 3 years ago for this, you broadcast out your webcam and people ask permission to view it (or connect automatically depending on your security). not sure what it does now as i haven't used it in a while.

MSN Messenger lets you do more than one webcam call.
i use it quite a lot to speak to 4/5 people. dont use Video Call. Send your webcam to them and request a webcam from them (its in the actions menu i think)

Interesting, this is exactly what I was just searching for - myself, my brother and dad were trying to get this working last night to see if we could all see each others webcams.

FWIW Skype doesn't let you natively videoconference, unless you can do the same as stumpy187's method for MSN..

If you look in the Webcam/Capture Software section you will find a selection of decent programs to use with webcams, for using a webcam with multiple parties try VSee Lab, this is actually very good.

Or you could also use Festoon with Skype (for multiple parties) etc. :)

Doing the Messenger trick (Sending webcam to multiple viewers) is fair enough, but it only does video, not audio.
We ended up using skype for the audio and two of us were using webcams via Live Messenger to see each other, not the best solution! I will try some of the other suggestions over the weekend :)

camfrog is good! but the only way you can view multiple cams / conferencing is to buy pro! which is £26.00 GBP.

I've just installed the below. Claims to support up to 6 cameras at once.
And it's FREEWARE :)

It certainly looks pretty. Not had chance to use it yet though.
I'll let you know how it works.
