Webiste User Feedback Ideas

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had a good ideas on ways i can show feedback about how an operation went to the user.

To see what I currently do go onto my website here:

Create something on it and it will give some feedback.

Does anyone have any better/more effective ways of doing this?

I was thinking of doing the same thing - but so that it doesn't overlap anything, because i think that's annoying now.

I quite like it tbh, have never seen feedback like that

Have always liked how the word press tiger admin interface gives feedback - a sort of new div appears dynamically at top of the page.

Obviously - that would only be there when there is feedback to give.

I like it the way it is. I would probably put a bit more room between the feedback box and the text input, but otherwise I think it is very nice. Has given me some ideas for my own project

When you go to "add software" you should keep track of the category the user in currently in and auto-select it in the drop-down list (a minor thing that should be easy to fix).

I do like your idea for the feedback though, what language is it written in?

Is that for the first design i take it (post 1)?

Its a fixed position it will always be in that position and overlap anything underneath it. This is the main problem with it I think

Thanks for that - good point about the tracking

I again assume you are talking about the first design (post 1). Both are written in pure (x)HTML and CSS + PHP for server side scripting.
