Webmail not working?

I've configured remote email on an SBS2003 server. When I test this from inside the LAN it works correctly however when I try from outside it displays 'This page cannot be found 404'. This is from the server and not a generic www page. I've checked the ports on the router which are OK. If I try the external IP address I get the default SBS 'Under Construction' page so I know external traffic is being redirected to the server.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
OP :)

I thought I had but I'll go over it again.

I've noticed SBS has a habit of locking down IIS more than it should. Have you gone through all the "startup steps" that it makes you do, IIRC one of those changes the connection permissions for each website.

I'm just VPN'ing to the server to give it a go :)

I've just gone into the 'internal website' management screen. When I select manage access I get the following page..
