Hello,

Bought some new RG6 cabling and compression connectors because the current screw on connector keeps falling off and needed to move the router to a different place hence the cabling.

I bought some HD100 cabling and two different compression connectors, but no matter how much I try to shove the connectors on the cabling it will not go on.

The connectors are Compression F Connectors.

If you've bought compression fittings won't you need a rather expensive crimp tool to fit them?

There's no way a screw on F-Type connector can easily fall off unless it's the wrong size for the cable (or they aren't installed correctly). They're actually usually quite difficult to remove even if you want to.

Yeah but your suppose to push the connector on till the dielectric is flush with the connector then use the crimp tool.

But I can only push it on so far because the outer layer is too tight.

As you can see in blow pic, that's as far as I can push it on.

Connectors I'm using are CableCon 5.1 Compression with HD100 cabling, I've also tried some fleabay ones as well.
