I was wondering what advice you could give in the way of web service authentication.
I'm soon to be developing a web service (in C#.NET) for an iPhone app to access. Now, I don't want to be using a username/password scenario on this and I've stumbled across oAuth on Google and wondered if this would be a good solution....and if so, how!?
The service will only be reading data from the DB for now but this will change in the future.
I'm open to any good solution really!
