Morning all .

looking for a little advice please.

We have had a website for the last 17 years , originally hosted by a hosting company , but 5 years ago we switched to yell.com.
we just don't seem to get a lot of work from our site , and i'm starting to think yell is a waste of time .it was fine in the old days of the yellow pages as we paid for a large printed advert.

we have a facebook page and a Twitter account ( but i can't get my head around Twitter) the Twitter link on the website is a generic one and i'm talking to Yell to get this changed .

I'm a 50 something Sign maker so not really clued up on all things Internet so any advice would be greatly appreciated to make our company stand out .

These are the links to our website and facebook page

thanks Rob

I know you're not overly clued up on twitter, but given the nature of your business, an Instagram account showing your work is a good option to explore.

yeah , we have a instagram account , i might change the twitter link to the instagram one ? only last week one of our customers asked us to remove the twitter logo from their signage and replace with the instagram logo

Looks good. It's clean, easy to navigate, I like that all the titles are green, makes it easy to skim read the page. My only comment is how come there are two vertical borders either side of the main content that don't quite match the background image?

dunno ? is it because its mobile friendly ?

I've just noticed that one off my competitors (when you google search a specific sign ) has mentioned my company name and five other local sign firms in his signature ( the text under his company name on the Google page )

what does he hope to gain from this ? if he's trying to pick up our "traffic" would this work ? seems a little unethical ?
