Hey guys,

I need to 'download' a couple of websites for analysis in an Internet-less environment. A few years back I used HTTrack or something which was a bit hit and miss to say the least!

Have things improved? What should I be looking at

What problems did you have with Win HTTrack? I've downloaded hundreds of (large) sites with it for offline use, it's by far the best one I've used.

I have used Teleport Pro with good success,

its pretty simple looking like HTTrack but does the job, saying that HTTrack always worked for me too.

Does anyone know if its possible to copy just the html? I'm not worried about images etc.

In options (when adding a project) you can click the "limits" tab and set the maximum size of any non-HTML file, if you set 1B it will only grab HTML files. Alternatively on the "Scan Rules" tab you can exclude the file type(s) you don't want it to download.

How easy is it to download just one page; but everything is needed, html, css, images etc.

Ha, yeah, normally that would be fine but I'd like the page's scripts too
