Hi all,
Got a problem, a local company has asked me if I can lend a hand with their website. I fix a few of there PC's cheap as I used to work there, but my web development skills are limited to HTML and a bit of CSS.
Basically, it needs to be a basic site with an online catalogue and ordering system.
Home page = Info about the company
Contacts page = address and contact info, maybe a link to multimap for directions.
That bit is simple as they dont want an interactive contacts page. I hit a problem with the best way of designing and implementing the catalogue/sales section.
How would you do it?
I was thinking of having a page for each of the 3 types of items they sell, then a seperate section where people can log in and order.
Another hitch is that the catalogue and website needs to be online by friday as they have a big show, the ordering part can wait a while yet.
If it involves PHP/SQL/other language please add a bit of detail in as its something i still have to learn
thanks
