Afternoon,

I've been bored this afternoon so I thought I'd just have a mess around designing a site using css, as I've done before. I want to buy a website and hosting for a site which I will update and will probably be a bit of a portfolio site but the more I look at and tweak the sites I have created I start to dislike them, and go off them quite quickly.

Anyways, the name here won't stick it's just a placeholder, but I'd like your comments and critism from this - improvements? anything? thanks. :)

I really like the top/nav however the links move when you hover. Something amiss in your CSS i guess.

I like the colour scheme but i dont like the blue bar as your header part. It's cool on the links though.

I think a decent footer, or just a way of sectioning the parts of the page would improve it.

I noticed that, tried to sort it out but its stopped doing it for me now.

That was a mistake, I set the h2 background colour as the blue but then it extended the whole width of the content, know why/how to stop it?

I agree, I'm working on it. :)

More please.

i like it, only thing i'd play about with is the font on the page, don't think its working too well.

looking at your code your using the <strong> tag a couple of times, not sure if this is approperate, if it was me i'd be using a span tag insted and style it using the stylesheet.

the links at the top in the header and the bottom still move when they are hovered over if they have not been visited. once the colour changes after you have followed the link, the hover behaviour works ok, but when they are in their default blue state & underlined, the hover cause them to move sideways.

also, the "homeward bound" hover state is larger than the containing bar - only slightly but noticable, it pokes over the top and bottom. maybe this is intentional? this is all in FF 1.5.0.4

hope my explanations are clear!
