I'm having some trouble with my website resolving properly. I'll try and keep things brief and simple:

- I registered with Register1 and began moving all my domains and files over from a new host.
- In the process I created a subdomain (aa.bb.com) and then realised Register1 couldn't do what I needed (multiple sites without being a subdomain/paying) so I switched to Dreamhost.
- Now everything's fine apart from this one domain. Sometimes it resolves correctly just to www.aa.com (ie I type that in and it goes/stays on that). Other time it will continue to resolve/forward to aa.bb.com even though my Register1 account/the subdomain doesn't even exist.

It seems quite random although it usually starts to resolve properly in the evenings.

As a temporary measure I've created a subdomain with Dreamhost so that when the domain forwards it has something to land on, but it's not ideal.

The website address is www.idoweddingfilms.co.uk and it will either be fine or resolve/forward to idoweddingfilms.co.uk.jonesmillbank.com.

Anyone have any ideas at all?

The times for DNS getting changed are indeed random, i have had it done within an hour, or within 24h.

Sub domains are a great temp solution tho as you have used :)
