I know, to be fair though, I'm not a designer, I'm an xhtml / css / mysql / php programmer. I tend to get given designs or pass the design side of things on to a suitable designer (I know loads of em though working freelance) and go from there.

I sort of "designed" my site to look quite bland and template like. I don't really do "whacky" at work. Although it is / has been due a lick of paint for a while now - just been too busy.
