Website for UT2K4 online maps?

Hi.

I notice that a lot of files for online play of UT2K4 needs to be downloaded, doing this from the servers is usually slow, is there any faster sources for all the maps and all that?

Also a way to download it so that UT2K4 does not re download it?

Filefront has a big UT2k4 section. You can't join a server using custom content if you don't have it installed though.

I'm playing on random Instagib and Sniper servers, there is a large amount of players still playing on these and it's awesome, shame when I go back to Manchester it's blocked

, here the wireless is abit crap too for playing em.

SR4470, I know I can't join if I don't have the content, it auto downloads it for you, but it's quite slow from the servers, and you have to re download it another day when you come back to play UT2k4 (if they are on that specific map that is)

It has a cache of that downloaded content which is cleared occasionally, there's some software that allows you to extract data from the cache files here: http://www.filefront.com/9061957/UT-Cache-Extractor-210/

its probably the bonus pack files that need to be downloaded, go on gamershell and download it

Vehicle CTF is cool too, nothing like jumping on the wings of a manta and getting the pilot to duck for a flag cap as you speed past

here at Unreal North is always a good place to start, at least if its for DM. Otherwise you can try the cup pages on clanbase, they've normally got download links for all the maps used during the season. Googling the map names sometimes brings u up a hit as well.

It's more popular than UT3 and it's better than UT2003, and plenty of people prefer it over the first UT, so I don't think UT2K4 is the "worst" ut game...

Are the GGMJ servers still about? Used to love bouncing around a giant living room

. Used to play on their servers on Voyager Elite Force back in the day.

I still prefer the first for playing DM/CTF/DOM modes and some of the assault maps. Nothing like the original CTF-Face

CTF-Face is in UT2004, it's called face classic.
