I'm after a website hit counter. If I search google it comes up with loads but I'd like one that doesn't keep counting if someone sits there pressing 'F5' 100 times in 5 minutes on the page.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Make your own!

It wouldn't take you long to get a script from hotscripts.com and modify it a little, even if you were to do it from scratch it wouldn't take up much time.

Guv, may I make a suggestion.

Try Google Analytics.

The reason is hits are worthless. Depending on your needs, you'll need far more information than hits. Keywords and referrals are far more valuable in terms of understanding how your website is working. The site overlay feature is fantastic at understanding what people do when they land on your website and the software provides a mass of really helpful and constructive information.

Oh, it's free too.
