Website layout opinions

Ok just drafting up my site but can't decide which layout looks best so am after you input.

Don't worry about logo e.t.c. its just the actual layout I'm unsure on, in the centre, or to the right

I prefer the first one - it looks a bit more 'busy' and professional looking

I prefer the second one, but I'd have a different colour background on the top menu.

i prefer the second one because in the first one the right menu is a bit too big and leaves little room for the contents..

I prefer the the 1st one out of the two... but both don't "do it" for me realy. seems theres something missing , perhaps when you drop some more content in there it might be better, keep going mate its a good start

would have been better in css..blah blah blah (someone had to do it )

Thanks for your replies. I'm a novice with Dreamweaver so just getting to grips with it. I've got a tutorial for it and it has a section on CSS so I'll take a look

Freak_Boy - You referring to the menu bar in IE with the javascript? As it gets blocked on mine too (sp2) tis fine in firefox mind (another thing I need to figure out)

its not that it gets blocked, i was being sarcastic, i disabled js temporarily and the menu thing didnt work..

Ah right Only it does get blocked in IE with xp sp2
