I'm moving mobile networks at the moment, moving back to a major network I used to be with about 5 years ago.

I go on their website to see if I can still log in under my previous details, and it comes up with the autofill suggestion. The issue being that it is showing my password as plain text for my username/mobile phone number suggestion.

Two issues, one suggesting my old password as a username, and two that they must have stored it as plain text. What can I do about this, apart from be enraged?

If your browser is filling in the form with your password, how is that the mobile providers fault?

Thats stored in your browser (and in the case of Chrome stored as part of your google account for syncing across devices).
Somewhere in your browser history you've typed your password into a field on a form that was inappropriately tagged by the developers.

Ah very good point, have gone into my autofill password settings and removed that entry. Thanks! Mods pls close thread.
