Evening folks
I made a navigational website years ago using director as part of a uni module, i now want to turn this into a html website so users do not need to install shockwave and simplify it a bit more. I have jpeg versions of all the assets i used, e.g. buttons and layouts etc I been looking into it but im not sure where to start, and what software to use. I have already designed everything, i just need to piece it all together.

Can someone point me in the right direction please? :)

You have a couple options available to you.

1. Just mash it together in a WYSIWYG editor such as Dreamweaver or MS Expression.
2. Spend an afternoon and learn enough basic CSS and HTML so that you can just build it yourself.

If you plan on getting this done and then never touching it again, I'd go for option 1.
or....
If you're likely to be editing this or other pages later or, you'd like to learn or, if this stuff interests you even just a little, I would definitely go for option 2.
It shouldn't take you long to get the basics down and then you can decide if you'd like to go further or not.

IMO, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS is handy for any web user to know.

i'll give it a go, 30 day trial sounds good, least it will give me a deadline date :-). I am planning to update it a little bit so might spending the weekend getting to grips with it.

thanks.
