Website statistics

What is the best free website statistics website/company/software out there to use?

There’s load on Google but I don’t know which one to trust. I’m after number of visits, possibly graphs and even what pages have been clicked on etc?

I've been using awstats on over 100 domains for the last 2-3 years and can't fault it. It can sometimes take a while to generate, but thats understandable because of the vast amount of DNS lookups it does to gather the necessary information on the visitors.

I've always used awstats on my domains, including ones that get over 10000 unique visitors a day, and I can't fault it.

I use and highly recommend StatCounter.com.. An awesome service which is completely free, offers a lot of statistics about entry/exit pages, google maps for geographic location of visitors, search engine wars, keywords used to find your site ..etc.etc.

Definitely worth checking out, I currently use it regularly.

im testing out google analytis - im using a lot of things for google so i thought id continue with this. im just looking into awstats but when i go on there website it requires firefox, how can a website not be compatible with IE?

You can continue with IE. But you should be using FF in the first place.
