WEC 2024

I did the DTM test the other week at Hockenheim, forgot what loud cars sounded like, used to this EV rubbish lol...

Currently in Imola setting stuff up for this weekend, new links between us and TV so driver and team audio should be available, most cars will sound good because they're using the new 4g/x10i radio system, Ferrari's will sound crap though as their radios arent as good as ours :D

Yeah, odd that, we're in Italy...

There was a race series years back where Lada ran, always came dead last, race in Russia, during practice 1,2,3, race finished 1,2...

Not that I'm suggesting motorsport is fixed..

Buy a cheap house because it is next to a busy racetrack. Moan, get track closed or heavily restricted, and house prices soars.

Weather radar looking grim. Large front moving over now. Dosnt look massively heavy but potential for a sustained period of damp stuff.
 
It came in hard and fast yesterday just as we were leaving the track, stopped in the bar for a drink, ended up having to have e2 so we didn't get wet...

Its gone grey but hasn't actually started properly raining so will see how it goes, just over 2:20h left..

Toyota being investigated as overtaken under VSC, if they get a penalty that'll put, oh yeah, Ferrari back into first....
 
OOh, rain at T1, call just come in from the marshalls so its being declared wet, lights on and all that jazz..
 
Oh lol, Eduardo has just told everyone to catch up to car 7 and pick up the pace, on a track they've just called wet...

This could be fun
 
SC still out, rain at T18/19..

Cant see them staying out for much longer before they start coming in for tyres.
 
Yeah it doesnt look like its raining much at all from our office but can hear the calls coming in from various points around the track
 
I feel the ferrari's have made a mistake here. I know what I'd want to be running, even if its just a short stint.
 
Disagree with the commentator here, Maybe Toyota pitted a little early but I think they were correct to pit for wets, track conditions are deteriorating quite fast now.
