Wedding location!!!

Ceremony - church.

Reception - Ettington Park Hotel, Warks.

Unusual (sort of) - my grandparents almost missed me getting married, as they got lost on the way from their hotel to the church and the vicar couldn't wait any longer. That was :( but then :D when they finally walked in.

I've not got married yet, although we're getting married this December 3 days before Christmas :)

We're getting married in a big country house type hotel not far from where we live. Its all quite last minute (only got engaged in April) as my Grandma isn't very well at the moment so we brought it forward (from 2013) so that hopefully she will be well enough to attend.

Don't think anything too unusual will happen though

Ceremony - Local registry office
Reception - Small meal at a nice restaurant

We hardly told anyone we were even getting married. The only guests were both sets of parents and my brother and his other half no-one else even knew about it. After the ceremony we informed the world via a relationship status change on Facebook :D

Oh and we used our race car to get to and from the ceremony.

I miss read that has "race card" thought you somehow gotten free travel by claiming the person providing it was racist, or some other form of hilarious antics playing in stereotypes.

Most weddings people like to stick with tradition, some change from the norm.

One bride decide to flag down a black cab to the registry from her hotel with the bridesmaids. No planned hire car, not even pre book taxi. How relax is that! Then all the guests walked from the registry office to the meal on foot through kings road in London.

One wedding took place in a castle in scotland, outside, so cool! Yet so brave, it was in April! But it turned out so warm and nice that week weather wise.

I did have one where they got married on Thursday in a registry office with just family attending but recreated it again on Saturday with everyone in a marquee in her dad's garden.

Otherwise, it's normally registry, hotel, church, barn in a converted farm, marquee etc.

Reception - Boat down the Thames with buffet lunch and (lucky) sunshine. 40 guests. It was very nice but I wish I had booked musician.

My mate got married at the small church in Edinburgh Castle, nothing untoward happened until i slipped out of the service early and went round all the Japanese and American tourists and informed tham that the Prince and Princess of Scotland had just been married (all the blokes were in kilts and she had a hoooge wedding dress, big fancy cars waiting at the gates to whisk them off etc) in a hush, hush ceremony. The look on his/her face when they came out to be faced with a few hundred tourists all taping and videoing them was priceless! :D

Got married in the Bellagio Las Vegas ( the hotel from Oceans 11 )

Champagne etc on terrace overlooking the lake, small evening meal in smart restaurant for 10 out there and then a larger reception for about 120 when we got back home

Got married in the Palazzo Cavalli in Venice.
Everyone had a camera including all the other tourists on the Realto bridge after the ceremony.
Loads of pictures taken by all and sundry.
Reception for 20 guests in a restraunt opposite the Rialto bridge.
Honeymoon in Sorrento.
The most memorable thing that happend that day was the London bombings 7/7/2005.
