Inspired by the other thread with the chap not knowing what presents to get :)

I've been to a few weddings where the couple have made a wedding present list for things they need/want for their house, etc.

I always thought it was a bit cheeky as some had really expensive stuff on it, but I wouldn't know what to buy otherwise and thinking about it, when I get married (next few years) I like the idea of choosing what I get rather than getting things I wont like and know I could have had better.

What is the general thought on these?

Boring thread I know, no need to tell me.

I wrote a rhyme on our invites saying that we just want people there and if they feel inclined to get a gift then Thomson vouchers would be lovely.

Then we're going to rock up at the travel agents the next day to see where we can go for our honeymoon last minute :)

Enjoy Butlins :)

(would be a bit funny though)

My girlfriend's cousin has everything and he is really hard to buy for at xmas/birthdays. During a drunken discussion about presents, and having just started dating, he said all he wanted were condoms.

Every one of his presents were little 2x2inch square packages :D

Thought it was funny.

(he got a bit of money in cards too)
