Heya chaps, im updating my own system at the moment and had a couple of questions. First, here is what I am going to be getting.

Intel Core i5 2500k

MSI Z77A-GD65 Intel Z77

Akasa Venom 750w PSU (Will be powering GTX260, Sound Card, 3-5 SATA drives with 1xSSD and 1xDVD Drive)

Zalman Z9 Plus Tower

Samsung SH-S222BB DVD Writer.

I will be re-using my sound card (SB Audigy 2) and my graphics card (GTX260 Nvidia) until I have further funds available to upgrade the last 2 components.

But, I was wondering if it was worth getting this processor over the 2500k

Also I was wondering about space in the case itself.

I went for the MSI one due to the reviews posted, a lot of people are satisfied with the board along with the processors put into them.

Also with the 8GB kit which people are more than satisfied with as well.

I actually had a nightmare trying to reuse my audigy 2 PCI card with windows 7 64bit.

Apparently there is a driver pack (not by creative) you can install but onboard audio isn't that bad nowadays

Its not that mate, there isnt a socket for it on my motherboard.

Its a PCI card and the only slots on the motherboard are the graphics card type PCI Express and the small black ones.

Trying to listen to a blue ray through computer with onboard audio isnt nice lol.

I want to pick up this but I just dont have the money for it after the few bits I purchased.

I got MSI Z77 board with the free geil kit and a i5 3750k along with a case and PSU. cost me £500 .
